We are kicking off Spooky Season with ELVIRA-TOBER... to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the character (which was created in 1981) and the release of Cassandra "Elvira" Peterson's new memoir "Yours Cruelly, Elvira" which was released on September 21st, 2021, we are going to dedicate this month to the queen behind your bad dreams.
We will be working through Elvira's picks herself, which she put together for her special put on by Shudder: Elvira's 40th Anniversary Very Scary, Very Special Special!
The first episode will be covering Elvira's first feature film "Elvira: Mistress of the Dark" which came out in 1988 following her ever popular Elvira's Movie Macabre which ran from 1981-1986. Through watching the film, I will also provide fun facts and behind the scenes anecdotes, including key stories from her book!
